2020 Chevrolet Era project, designed by Yana Briggs of Lithuanian origin. This project creates an environmentally friendly car and he directed at protecting the environment. The 2 + 2 design proposes to have active light collector panels housed on the top of it while the model’s concave spherical surface would maximize the available area to the panels that would absorb sunlight to generate electricity to power the beast.

Streamlined lights placed along the car’s sides would indicate the charging process while a built-in O2 filter exhaust oxygen renewal system would cleanse the incoming polluted air as you drive.

Save the city from the exhaust! We all want it! An alternative mode of transportation gaining popularity. Begin to appear such machines world-renowned brands. So Volvo is starting production of the all electric version of its compact-size hatchback which, unsurprisingly, is named the C30 Electric. The Swedish automaker plans to build about 250 cars by the end of 2012 (or more if there is enough interest).  

The electric vehicle’s batteries can be recharged from a normal socket, with a full charge requiring 7 hours and offering a driving range of 150 km or close to 100 miles. The C30 Electric accelerates from 0-50 km/h (0-30 mph) in 4 seconds, and its top speed reaches 130 km/h (80 mph). Well, how interesting!

German tuning house MR Car Design has prepared a mild performance package for  Maserati Quattroporte  Sports Saloon.  MR Car Design engineers have configured the software for the 4.2-liter V8 engine and add a custom exhaust system lift production at 30HP and 29Nm for a total of 430 horses, and 480nm (352 lb-ft) of torque.  

Сosmetic changes concern the new 22-inch Vossen alloy wheels shod in high-performance tires size 245/30 R22 at the front and 295/25 R22 with 15mm spacers at the back, the tinted windows and the new tail pipe designs. A set of adjustable sport springs from H&R that lower the car’s ride height from 20mm to 30mm complete the updates.

The company’s most recent creation is called the ‘Black Vogue’ and it is based on the Land Rover Range Rover Vogue. The tune is all about updating the luxury 4x4s looks inside and out. The exterior package for the Range Rover includes restyled front and rear bumpers, new side vents, billet finish side skirts, and a sports exhaust system with four tail pipes. The final addition is a new set of Project Kahn’s own 22-inch RS600 alloy wheels in a matt black shade.

This wondrous concept . Dubbed simply the Honda Chopper Concept, the subtly curvaceous demeanor of the chassis defined by an ultra-futuristic linear form, does speak of a myriad of influences starting from sci-fi literature of the 80’s to modern day bio-punk renditions seen in the Manga.  

The streamlined, expansive form of the chopper exhibits a long front suspension with a feet forward pedal and seating position. But what really did tickle our green senses was the low emission side to this modernistic system. The motorcycle will be endowed with two sturdy yet small electric hub motors that accentuate the lowering of the center of gravity. This will in turn facilitate better control; of course along with improved efficiency.

Italian sports car manufacturer Lamborghini plans to add an "everyday" model to its lineup. Lamborghini wants to add a new model to its range to increase sales. "We are going to have a third model. It has to be an everyday car. We want to have a car which is able to be used on a daily basis," said Winkelmann.

However, Winkelmann didn’t mention anything about the type of vehicle, simply stating that Lamborghini hasn’t reached a decision yet. He also said that once the decision is made, the company will need about four years to launch the car and added that the new model will be developed in-house, with help from the VW Group. “We will use synergies where possible within the (Volkswagen) group", noted Winkelmann.

German aftermarket specialist Carlsson released a new tuning package for the Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabriolet, offering 20 percent more power, a new aero package and interior improvements. All these are available for the E 350 CDI model, whose 3.0-liter V6 diesel engine delivers 231 horsepower out of the box. As expected, Carlsson didn’t think that was enough, so it developed the C-Tronic Diesel Power CD28-35 REVO package that consists mainly of ECU remapping. Engine power is boosted by 20 percent to 280 horsepower, while maximum torque goes from 540 Nm (398 lb-ft) to 648 Nm (478 lb-ft).  

Carlsson also worked on the suspension, offering sport springs that lower the car by 30 millimeters and improve handling. The aerodynamic package consists of a new front bumper with an RS spoiler lip, a rear spoiler plus redesigned bumper and assorted sills. The car rides on light Carlsson-designed wheels, sized from 18 to 20 inches, with complete sets of rims and tires available from ?2,712 ($3,850). For the interior, Carlsson offers only new details such as gearshift lever covered with leather and Alcantara, aluminum door pins, soft velvet door mats with the Carlsson logo and aluminum pedals with footrests.

Porsche has officially released the Panamera Diesel. With a range in excess of 1,200 kilometres on an 80 liter tank, the new Panamera Diesel is an economical GT saloon. Thanks to its fuel consumption of only 6.3 liters per 100 kilometer, it is the first Porsche Gran Turismo with a six-cylinder diesel engine that can drive from Berlin to Bologna without refuelling. 

The Panamera Diesel has three-litre V6 engine with a rated output of 250hp achieved between 3,800rpm and 4,400rpm. The maximum torque of 550Nm is available all the way from 1,750rpm to 2,750rpm. Linked to an eight-speed Tiptronic S, the six-cylinder turbo diesel powers the new Gran Turismo from a standing start to 100km/h in 6.8 seconds, with a top speed of 242km/h. The Panamera Diesel is exclusively available with rear-wheel drive. Adaptive air suspension is available as an alternative to the standard steel spring suspension if so desired. The new model can be recognised by the lettering “diesel” on the front doors. The Panamera Diesel costs 80,183 euro in Germany including VAT and country-specific equipment and will be available for delivery from August 2011.

Starting with a production CT 200h, the tuner modified the 1.8-liter gasoline engine by adding an Eaton supercharger along with a Climax Racing intake manifold and a Yonaka air to water intercooler among other upgrades to push output to an estimated 300HP.  To improve handling, Lexus’ entry-level model gained new springs, an upgraded brake systems from Baer with 13-inch rotors and four-piston calipers, and 20-inch alloy wheels shod in Toyo T1R tires size 225/30 20 up front and 255/30 20 at the back.

Cosmetically, Fox Marketing added a new wide body kit with three-inch fender flares, new bumpers and a large rear diffuser along with a bespoke paint job. As for the interior, there are custom LED Lexus logos in the door panels and Yonaka Ronin racing seats trimmed in black leather with red stitching.
