The sexy, shiny Jaguar E-Type revival concept that has made the rounds in the past few weeks is entering ultra-limited production.  Company Vizualtech Design Studio from Sweden will build a concept car, concept car is based on the Jaguar E-Type. The company said that the Swedish Visualtech Growler will be ready in the summer of 2012 for the first time if all goes according to plan-making Jaguar E-Type Concept. Each Growler take a long time for the assembly because any Growler can take about 6 months. The Growler assembly can not be done three or four cars at the same time as it requires precise calculation. But if demand increases Jaguar E-Type concept then Visualtech will work premises Steyr or Valmet from Finland for help in assembling the Jaguar E-Type concept that can be completed on time.

The Growler will be built based on the Jaguar XKR with a body made of carbon fiber. Two tubular frame will be placed on the front and rear, steering wheel, transmission, suspension and engine. The Growler will use a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine capable of producing power of 600 hp and can reach a speed of 100 kph in less than 4 seconds. The Growler also has a fairly light weight due to the use of carbon fiber for the chassis, the Jaguar E-Type concept only has a weight of 1550 kg.  

The Growler E is based on the Jaguar XKR model, but that the chasis is a completely different beast; it will be built on a composite body glued to a carbon fibre chassis. The rear and front ends are then bolted together with two tubular frames, which will use to secure the steering, transmission, suspension and engine as well. The total weight of the car is expected to be around 3410 pounds. The Growler E will be powered by a 5.0-liter supercharged V8 that is found on the Jaguar XKR. The engine will be tuned to produce about 600 horsepower. Visualtech desires a 0-60 mph sprint of under 4 seconds.  Pricing for the Growler depends on the number orders, if there is less demand, expect to pay a hefty price of $700,000. And if there is only a few orders, it will cost around $1.4 million to own this classic-modern fusion design beauty. Looks like there will be another ?007? movie coming out soon with this car written all over it.

Considering the rate at which mega-bucks hypercars have been hitting the market, you wouldn’t think that the world is currently slowly staggering to its feet after a prolonged and painful recession. Keen not to be left behind, the Swedish supercar maker Koenigsegg has brought their latest car out to play. The Koenigsegg Agera R is more than ready to do battle with the likes of Ferrari, Lamborghini and even Bugatti.

Powering the Agera R is a 5.0 litre twin-turbocharged V8, which when fueled with E85 bioethanol, manages to produce an astounding 1,115 horsepower and 1,200 Nm (885 lb-ft) of torque. Fill the Agera R up with regular 95-octane gasoline and it’ll still offer up 940 horsepower. The Agera R’s transmission is a 7-speed dual-clutch setup which somehow manages to channel the power to the rear wheels without turning into metal soup.  Of course all that grunt means the Agera R isn’t a slouch, and it’s helped by the lightweight construction which uses unreasonable amounts of carbon fiber for both the body and monocoque chassis.

The Veela is the first sport car to emerge from the new Milanese manufacturer Juliani.Juliani describes the Veela as; "an Italian supercar made by Italians".
Presented as a 2+2 coupe, this rear wheel powered car is built on a space-frame chassis and a fiberglass bodywork. This model also features an independent front and rear suspension, with anti-roll bars for both axles, and adjustable dampers. The Julia Veela measures 4550mm in length, 1920mm in width, 1240mm in height and the wheelbase is 2620mm. With a trunk capacity of 520 liter this car will be suitable for long trips.The engine is a 6.2 liter V8 which produces 520hp which is placed in front of the driver. With a weight of 1160kg this car has a power-to-weight ratio of 448hp/ton. This specific power is similar to the power to weight ratio of the Bugatti Veyron.

According to the manufacturer, the Juliani Veela accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in 3.4 seconds, 160km/h will be reached in 7.6 seconds and the top speed is 310km/h. For deceleration, the Juliani Veela is equipped with a Brembo braking system with 355mm discs on the front and 330mm on the rear.The car is equipped with a six-speed manual transmission. Other features include traction control which can be disabled and a launch control system. The interior consists of Recaro seats with bespoke leather trim, and an integrated Apple iPad system for controlling the radio, multimedia system, internet, navigation and the phone. Also interesting is the optional onboard video recording system.

Designed by Jack Lamburn, the Lotus Esira concept is a lightweight car that is planned to fit the year 2025. Featuring a never seen before construction method, this car of the future is powered by a hydrogen fuel cell system which drives two electric motors turning the rear wheels. Materials that make up the car are d3o and metal rubber

The d3o is a non-Newtonian material that usually behaves like a rubbery gel, but when struck immediately turns into an extremely sturdy solid. So, this material could give the passengers great protection during an accident. The metal rubber can be stretched and molded like rubber, making the bodywork react to the movement of the suspension system.

t is also capable of conducting electricity, giving the freedom to adjust the shape in accordance to the onboard computer. The body of the car can change shape while moving to keep the airflow as smooth as possible. The interior give a cockpit like feeling with a lever that looks more like the ejector seat handles of a fighter aircraft and helps to open the doors. I would certainly want to try my hands on this futuristic car’s wheel.

Well, we need to wait until 2025 to see the electric concept car – pictured above – actually ruling the roads. Dubbed as Lotus Esira, the concept car focuses on shelving those extra pounds to ensure more performance each time you hit the road. The concept car is powered by a hydrogen fuel cell system, which drives two electric motors turning the rear wheels. Designer Jack Lamburn brings this out with an extremely supple, featherweight construction, which makes use of d3o, a non-Newtonian material, and the metal rubber.

While d3o initially acts like a rubbery gel, it hardens once it’s applied to ensure perfect solidity in the event of a crash. The ‘electrically conducive’ metal rubber is an ally to the movement of the suspension system. A tubular frame lends support to the bodywork that employs the already explained two components. The shape-shifting bodywork allows the air to flow freely and smoothly. Moreover, it changes shape to follow the angle of the wheels when the front wheels are turned.

The interior of the Lotus Esira makes use of carbon fiber for ensuring safety to driver and passengers. The doors flip open when the user pulls the lever placed under the seats.

Stagnation means death in any business, which is why automakers are constantly evolving and expanding their lineups. But, while market research and focus groups design some vehicles—witness the BMW 5-series GT—Audi seems to follow a different approach in which intuition plays a bigger role.
