2012 Aston Martin Virage Coupe & Volante

The Aston Martin Virage was designed to be between the DB9 & DBS models in the company’s range. The Virage combines the luxury and power of the DB9 with greater performance and power – much like the DBS.
Dr Ulrich Bez, CEO of Aston Martin, stated that “100 years’ worth of automotive history has shown that evolution provides the best solutions in a short time.” Virage is the next evolution of our VH architecture strategy, and it accomplishes everything with the perfection you would expect. It’s the perfect combination of opposites.
The hand-built 6.0-litre V12 produces 490 horsepower and 580 Nm (420 lb.ft) of torque. The six-speed Touchtronic II automatic transmission with carbon-fiber prop shaft transfers power to the rear wheels. Aston Martin Virage’s handling is designed to provide a more engaging and refined driving experience. The suspension system is constantly adjusted by the Adaptive Damping System, which adapts to changing conditions. The system can now choose from five different stiffness settings in normal mode and five more for sport mode.
